On your desktop rig? Piece of piss mate, should be effortless. Pretty much ALL the Intel ICH chipsets support 360 flashing, so yours - ICH10 if memory serves - should work just fine. It'll be easier for you since the drive has already been flashed, no need to dump the key or anything.

Any x64 OS had issues a while back, but most of that has been sorted with the new JungleFlasher stuff these days. Failing that there's the good old fashioned, tried and tested, DOSFlash procedure.

If you are keeping it offline for good then you have nothing to worry about of course. Unless Microsoft steps it up and keeps in the consoles while your sleeping.

Modded Controller? The modded controller you can get on eBay that has rapidfire on CoD, on which I've heard you can get banned from?

No one has ever been banned for a modded controller. No one gives a shit about them. And they work for any FPS.
